Overview:

The Business Analyst will be reporting to the CEO and will play a vital role in the internal workings of projects and financial forecasting to help support the CWLE process. This person will be an action-oriented and dedicated individual looking to excel within CWL Energy Management Ltd. The Business Analyst will also be accountable for the following:​

Responsibilities:

Duties include; but, are not limited to:

  • Elicit and document (business and functional) requirements from cross functional teams
  • Provide input to revenue and volume forecasts relating to asset management
  • Translate data into business intelligence that can be acted upon; intelligence that also identifies cost savings or efficiency opportunities
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of multiple projects; maintain schedules and budgets
  • Analyze requirements and contribute to solution recommendations
  • Ensure and measure the value of the newly implemented processes
  • Assist in the development of the Project Management strategy for corporate and operations teams
  • Create comprehensive project management documentation to utilize company wide
  • Research and understand various internal and external business processes
  • Educate Operations team and identify gaps in deliverables and knowledge
  • Maintain current process documentation and incorporate ongoing continuous improvements
  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Client support, all levels
  • Manage client expectations, resource availability and allocation
  • Support CEO with reporting and documentation as needed​

 

Qualifications:

  • Post graduate degree or diploma in business related field of study with +2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven economic, financial, cost modelling and analytical skills would be considered an asset
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Can exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to be proactive and work without direct supervision ​
